I suppose this is one instance where you are the teacher.

[ Charles did guide Erik once just as much as his other students. He helped him tap into his greater power, although look where that ended up for them. But he's often been in the role of the authority because of his deep interest and knowledge of mutation and a sharp, quick mind on how to bring out the best in others. Those are skills that are useful in other situations, he just doubts he'll be tapping into that much in this situation. For now. If they are stuck for an extended time, it may eventually come back into usefulness.

Charles doesn't have the money for any of that but it is check marked in his mind for when he does. The fact he'll have to get a normal job is alien to him. He doesn't know where he'll find one that suits him, but literal beggars cannot be choosers. This is a humbling situation. He misses Hank, but he realizes that means he relied far too heavily on his friend to handle everything for him. He's been spoiled.

Charles knows everything about Erik so he's well aware of what he's done to survive over the years, how he's moved through the world. He liked spoiling him a little too when they were together. Giving him things he couldn't get when he was solely focused on his revenge goal. ]

Yes, fine.

[ He doesn't love it but he'll allow it. Charles knows he shouldn't be so sensitive about the chair but the man spent years on a drug solely to get around it. He just needs to readjust. ]

You said your plans in those months after your attack on DC changed. To what?
