[ The relief at being released from his watery prison sort of overrides any immediate feeling of discomfort of being watched or even the thought that he should probably find some different clothes to get into at some point.

He and Marc seem to be similar in that Bob can also sense acutely when something is off. Rather than it having to do with anything to do with his powers however, it can probably be chalked up to a childhood of always tiptoeing around everything and everyone. He learned from an early age how to sense when something was wrong in the house like it was a subtle change in the air. But of course expressing that once had only resulted in his dad taunting him for being "too sensitive" instead of it simply deriving from a need to try and keep the peace.

...Regardless, he'll pick up on the shift in the air soon enough and realize that he shouldn't have been so quick to think that that was that. What he does pick up however in lieu of not noticing the way the shadows crawl towards them more than ready to be released from the confinement of that room, is the way irritation flashes across Marc's face. A rational person would know that that wasn't his fault. But Bob's mind is so rarely rational and prefers to place the blame on himself even when in reality, it would have been impossible for that to be his fault. So focused on that he almost misses the fact that they need to get out of here.

After all, they'd gotten what they'd came. With the medicine tucked securely under his arm he'd technically done something right. ]

...Right! Keys. [ Patting down his ridiculously baggy cargo pants he eventually unearths them - along with a fridge magnet of the Rocky Mountains. After quickly pocketing the magnet he holds his keys out towards the man who has yet to be introduced. ...Only for his brows to furrow in confusion. ] Wait. Did something happen with your car?
