[ The first name that rings a bell is Alkali-Transigen. Named after the same lake where Stryker's hideout was, the same hideout they were in before he was dragged here. Couldn't be a coincidence. Scott doesn't believe in those, anyway.

The more he listens, the more he's beginning to connect the dots. As if machines sent to hunt them down weren't enough, now they're making sure no mutant is ever born in the future. Scott's right when he told Charles the future doesn't sound so promising. It's really as if North America abhors mutantkind, if not the whole world itself.

Brows creasing even further, Scott does conclude she's one of the mutants born in a lab. And it's a conclusion that squeezes something fierce within his chest. Mutants grown in a lab, like animals, like mere pets or weapons. It makes him sick to his stomach. ]

One good thing from your future, I guess. [ Him being a good man in those comics. There's a moment's pause on his end as he tries to process everything he just heard. ]

This must mean your future is different from the one the Professor saw. Got it. [ Then, his features and tone turn soft, sympathetic. He shakes his head because he's still so disgusted by how mutants are being treated. ]

Sorry to hear about your experience, though. No mutant should be born from a lab. We deserve normal lives. [ He pauses, swallows, brows furrowing, as he still can't believe such futures exist. ] We deserve community and equal rights.
