He nods and moves away, time is of the essence.
The panel ends up not difficult to open for him. The slippery substance is strange, but Jack can just slam it with his fist without having to pull, and it falls open. He feels the sensation of someone nearby, which is strange, but he can focus on the task at hand. A life must be put first from weird tingles. The shadows surrounding him are odd too, but Jack is good at separating things into boxes. And he's not afraid of anything against him.
The strange thing is that something goes wrong in his head for a moment. He struggles to focus on the symbols. He is powerful against distractions but he still feels it and blinks a few times. The sudden cut on his hand is bizarre and heals over immediately. He thinks this must be a monster in there with them. That's not good. He must save his friend, so he manages to push past it and push the code in.
Immediately the water drains out of Benny's locked room and Jack hurries back in time to see the door open, relieved. There's blood on his hand and on his white jacket, but it's not important. ]
