"Hmmm, don't think I stole it." John scratches his chin for a moment. "What's your name?"

He has been looking at the IDs if the wallets had them. John has to know who to avoid and if he can't avoid them, be careful around them. This guy doesn't look familiar so he's pretty confident that he hadn't lifted his wallet.

Then again, maybe he did and forgot. Snatching wallets has been a good way to survive in the short term.

"You've had the wallet a long time, I hope. If it's brand new then this is going to be very difficult." John starts searching the shelves for the simple things he needs for a tracking spell. The longer he's had the wallet, the stronger the spell will be.
