Once they pick a vehicle, they're stuck with it. This is not a car dealership, and generally, they will only have one or two vehicles available. Characters will have to take what they get.

Trading in cars later in the game is possible, but it won't be a 1:1 exchange. They'll have to make a deal. You can talk to us if you reach that stage in the game and aren't sure how to proceed!
