I can't hear you.

( she says, the moment he comes back to the window and starts saying things. the water is rising, so she's trying to pay as much attention to him as possible; if wanda can't hear him, chances are the same goes for him.

especially when he presses the binder to the glass.

wanda scans it quickly, then gets β€” an idea of what is going on, what needs to be done.

fishing in her pocket for the cellphone she was given, wanda taps away at the hard keys and goes for the photo option. hopefully he can see what she's trying to do and doesn't move the binder away, not until she's snapped the picture. the quality is shitty, but the symbols looks distinctive enough that she'll be able to make them out.

wanda gives him a thumbs upβ€”

stay alive.

β€”and then hurries out the door, towards the back of the building. an uneasy feeling immediately overcomes her, and it's strangely dark. it wasn't like this inside, was it? wanda remembers that there's a guy who will probably drown if she doesn't do this, so she hurries to the panel, assumes it's the one, and when prying doesn't work (what the hell is this substanceβ€”?), she uses her telekinesis to pull the panel off entirely.

everything goes dark, but for the symbols, and wanda β€” wanda comes to, hands on the panel, CODE ACCEPTED on the screen, blood on her hand and a sting from and injury she can't remember. the water gets sucked up from what she can hear, but it's so β€” dark stillβ€”

she hurries back inside, stumbling a little. )

Hey!

( she echoes, like when she first got here. the doors have released, so he should be able to stumble out, to hear her, hopefully. )

We have to go!
