Connor feels... something. The physical sensations, yes: closeness. A sense of tenderness. Fingers sliding through his hair. The sensors in his scalp absorbing Glenn’s touch.
Is it a comfort? In a way. Mostly, it’s new. Unfamiliar.
“Why... do you want to touch me?”
Said a little incredulously as he sits, stiff beneath Glenn’s hand. Not uncomfortable; merely parsing the sensations. The dimnness of his sight, shapes barely etched out in the darkness. The sound of someone running, their feet stomping past Glenn’s door.
“I would like to do more then exist,” Connor says thoughtfully. “If I can find the necessary components to maintain my body here, I could exist for much longer than the lifespan of a human.”
He doesn’t say ‘forever,’ because who knows? Back home, androids haven’t been around for that long. And an eternity of loneliness...
“How do you find those simple pleasures?” Connor supposes he has the time, but there’s so much to try. How might he discover joy when all he has known is a brief life of service?

And Hank. But Hank is gone.
