Jack considers lighting up the room for her to be more comfortable, but he thinks better of it for now, he's not supposed to impulsively use his powers everywhere. Besides, she has a candle, and she seems nice and he doesn't want to scare her. She's safe with him, and if anyone else tries anything with his new friend, she won't have to use that gun he spotted. He'll make them sorry.
