ANYWAY i'm fascinated because her sense of 'her people' is strong to the point that she doesn't always clock it as bias? it won't happen over night, but she really does have the jrpg protag loyalty of believing in your people no matter what(tm) that he absolutely should call her out on, it'd be great
BUT BACK TO HIGHER POWERS it's a line of like, expectations she was born into vs even if she did have a choice i doubt anything would have changed. duty bound to the extreme, so... yknow, formative with an asterisk (but probably still formative). so i think she'll be slow to clock some of the parallels but the parallels are very much there?? i love the idea of starting to compare notes and then slowly getting more and more philosophical over time.
featuring like, a lot of shady guys getting beat up & also him getting regular texts to see how he's doing & also the horrors in general. weird unhinged shit, why not.
